The staff and faculty would like to welcome you to Barbara Worth Jr. High School.  The 2011-2012 school year provides us with an opportunity to continue working together towards top quality and continuous improvement.  We must strengthen our partnership between students, parents, and teachers in order to ensure each and every student at Barbara Worth Jr. High is successful!

At Barbara Worth Jr. High School we strive to ensure that every student be a responsible citizen, an independent thinker, an effective communicator, and a successful life-long learner.

As a school of success we are committed to creating a safe academic environment, which insures learning to the highest academic standards, instills responsibility, self-worth, respect, and a strong work ethic in all students.

Parents and other interested community members are a vital part of our school community. We appreciate the time and talents parents have contributed to our school and look forward to many more opportunities to work together this school year.  If a parent is interested in volunteering, he/she must contact our Resource Teacher, Mrs. Salgado or our Principal, Mr. Panduro so we can make the necessary arrangements.

The entire staff here at BWJHS will be here to lend guidance, answer questions and provide assistance whenever the need arises.  We wish parents and students a successful and enjoyable year.
