Register your child for the ASES or ARC after school program for the 2025-2026 school year! We offer diverse activities to encourage learning and fun in the afternoons. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your child's after school experience- secure their spot today! Open to students in grades TK through 8th grade at all BESD school sites. Please contact the ASES Lead or ARC Site Coordinator at your child's school for more information.
SUMMER ACADEMY
Adventure Awaits! is an exciting summer academy where students will learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on discovery. Students will engage in robotics engineering, virtual reality space exploration, and collaborative enrichment activities designed to build problem-solving, teamwork, and curiosity. The program is open to returning BESD students entering Kindergarten through Grade 6 for the 2026–2027 school year.
MLS GO PROGRAM
Get ready to play, learn, and grow! The Major League Soccer (MLS) Go Youth Soccer Program offers BESD students in grades TK-6 a fun, safe, and no-cost opportunity to build soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence through weekly practices, games, and seasonal clinics. Led by trained coaches in partnership with the Brawley Police Department, this program promotes physical fitness, positive mentorship, and community connection.
THE STUDY SPOT
Give your child the extra support they need to succeed! The Study Spot provides students with a fun and engaging place to get homework help and tutoring after school. ✅ Open to grades K-8 at every school site ✅ Tutoring available 3 days a week for 1 hour after school ✅ Focused on helping students build confidence and improve their skills ✅ Priority registration for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, English learners, and foster youth Tutoring begins in November — enrollment is based on teacher participation in the program.
JURASSIC JOURNEY
Step into a world of discovery where students become young scientists exploring dinosaurs through hands-on activities like fossil digs, erupting volcano experiments, and gemstone mining. Through interactive games, creative projects like designing dinosaur masks, and engaging science-based learning, students will build curiosity while having fun.
