NOTICE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS

June 5, 2009 

Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, the weekly minimum day will be changed from each Friday to each Wednesday.  Student dismissal times on these Wednesdays will also change as follows: 

            Grades K-3                  12:50 p.m.

            Grades 4-6                   1:00 p.m.

            Grades 7-8                   1:30 p.m.

Please call your child’s school, or the District Office, with any questions you may have.  The first day of school for the 2009-2010 school year is August 24, 2009.

Provide a dynamic program that will anticipate the challenges of a rapidly changing society by maintaining a professional staff dedicated to the success of each child; keeping parents informed and actively participating in their children’s instructional programs; and allocating resources to new and successful existing programs.

 
Maintain a District organization that provides the structure to support and deliver the instructional program by providing a physical environment conducive to health, safety and learning; giving staff the responsibility and authority to carry out its clearly-defined roles; and maintaining a management team that fosters creativity, enthusiasm, dedication and high morale.
