Dear Hidalgo Team, Students, and Families,

Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Miguel Hidalgo Elementary! We hope your summer was filled with rest, joy, and time with loved ones. We’re excited to begin the 2025–2026 school year with energy, purpose, and pride in our growing community.

This year marks Year 2 of our school-wide Literacy Campaign, and we are proud of the progress our students and teachers made last year. The results have been powerful, and we are more committed than ever to ensuring every child is reading at or above grade level.

We’re also thrilled to announce that Miguel Hidalgo Elementary has received the Community Schools Grant, which will allow us to expand resources for students and families, strengthen partnerships, and support the whole child in and beyond the classroom.

As always, we need YOU—our families and community—to partner with us. Strong parent participation and great student attendance are essential to our continued success. Together, we can make this year our best yet.

Let’s move forward united, focused, and full of Hidalgo spirit.

¡Bienvenidos al Año Escolar 2025–2026 en la Primaria Miguel Hidalgo!

Queridos estudiantes, familias y equipo de Hidalgo:

¡Bienvenidos a un nuevo año escolar en la Primaria Miguel Hidalgo! Esperamos que su verano haya estado lleno de descanso, alegría y tiempo en familia. Comenzamos el año escolar 2025–2026 con mucha energía, propósito y orgullo por nuestra comunidad en crecimiento.

Este año continuamos con mucho entusiasmo el Segundo Año de nuestra Campaña de Lectura Escolar. Estamos muy orgullosos del progreso que lograron nuestros estudiantes y maestros el año pasado. Los resultados han sido muy alentadores, y estamos más comprometidos que nunca en asegurar que todos nuestros estudiantes lean a su nivel de grado o más allá.

También nos emociona compartir que la Primaria Miguel Hidalgo ha recibido la subvención de Escuelas Comunitarias, lo cual nos permitirá ampliar los recursos para nuestros estudiantes y familias, fortalecer asociaciones y apoyar al niño de manera integral dentro y fuera del aula.

Como siempre, necesitamos su participación. La colaboración con nuestras familias y una excelente asistencia escolar son claves para el éxito de nuestros estudiantes. Unidos, podemos lograr que este año sea el mejor.
