A big thank you to Farm Smart for bringing the “Read with a Farmer” event to our 3rd-grade classrooms at Miguel Hidalgo Elementary! 🥕📚
Farmers visited our classrooms and read the book “How Did That Get in My Lunchbox?: The Story of Food” by Chris Butterworth. Students loved learning about how food gets from the farm to their plates and had the chance to ask the farmers thoughtful questions about agriculture. 🚜🌽🥪
We truly appreciate our guest farmers for inspiring our students and making learning about food and farming so fun and meaningful! 🌟
